Friendship Baptist Church is a community of disciples committed to engaging God in worship, one another in fellowship, and the world in discipleship for Jesus' sake.

On this site you will find information about who we are, what we believe, and how we fulfill the mission God has given us. If we can provide you with additional information, please contact us.

We look forward to you joining us in worship soon!

  • Campus Reopening

As we continue to respond to the impact of COVID-19, we invite you to join us for worship in the sanctuary or via the drive-in (tune your radio to 89.5 FM). For those who are homebound, our sermon videos are archived on our website here and are broadcast on a one-week delay on our Facebook page at our regular service times.

We are currently unable to offer nursery, children's church, or children's activities on Wednesday nights. We hope to resume these activities later this fall.

  • Current Sermon Series

We are currently studying the epistle to the Hebrews. This sermon, written in letter form, is filled with words of witness to the supremacy of the Lord Jesus and warning for a group of disciples who have not yet grown up in their faith. The preacher regularly employs nautical terminology to underscore the spiritual condition of his congregation and to call them to corrective action in light of the finished work of Christ. Like those disciples, we know that the tendency to drift away from Jesus is always present with us. We must learn to examine ourselves and take ation when needed to hold close to Christ. The epistle to the Hebrews will help us do just that.

  • Pastoral Care Update

Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19, most regional hospitals are continuing to prohibit visitation by non-family members if not visitation altogether. Consequently, Pastor Nicholas is generally unable to make visits to members and their families at the present time. However, he still desires to provide pastoral care to you even if it is from a distance. If you or your loved one is hospitalized, having surgery, or is sick, please let him know so that he can pray for you, request prayer from the church family, and be a resource to you through illness and recovery.
